Frequently asked questions about Wallet tickets
How do I offer my attendees an Apple Wallet or Google Wallet ticket?
In Sweescape, add the Wallet buttons block to the invitation email, the one that sends each attendee their QR code. Everyone sees two buttons, Apple Wallet and Google Wallet. On click, their pass is generated with their name, the date, their ticket type and their QR code.
Can I customise the Wallet pass?
Yes. For each event, you choose two colours, a logo and a banner, with a preview of the Apple and Google versions. Without customisation, the pass uses the cover image of the event.
Do attendees need to install an app?
No. Apple Wallet is on every iPhone and Google Wallet is on most Android phones. The ticket is added in one click, without creating an account.
Do Wallet tickets work with invitations sent by SMS?
Yes. The SMS contains the link to the attendee's invitation page. That page shows their QR code and the same buttons to add it to Apple Wallet and Google Wallet.
Does the Wallet pass replace the QR code received by email?
No, it comes on top of it. The QR code remains available in the email and on the invitation page. The Wallet pass contains the same QR code, quicker to find on the door.
