What is a ticketing extension?
An extension adds a feature to your ticket page or to your checkout: a countdown block, a scarcity banner, a seat picker. It is installed from the Sweescape marketplace and activated event by event.
Which extensions are available on Sweescape?
Five extensions are published by the Sweescape team: countdown and urgency, scarcity banner, generic seat map, ticket preview and practical info. The marketplace grows as new extensions are published.
Can I sell numbered seats with Sweescape?
Yes, with the seat map extension. You define your sections, rows and seats around a central element such as a stage or a screen, and you link each section to a ticket. Seats already sold or currently being paid for are greyed out. Current limit: one seat per order.
Is an extension safe for my ticket buyers?
Every extension declares the permissions it needs, visible before installation. Its code runs in a sandbox isolated from the page and has no access to the payment, which is still processed by Stripe.
Can I develop my own ticketing extension?
Yes. The Created tab lets you declare a manifest, upload your files and manage your versions. An extension can stay private or be submitted to the marketplace.
